Tired of exploring the same ol’ spots in Singapore? Venture out to this hidden thrift market in Woodlands for a more unconventional shopping experience as you explore the many pre-loved retro (and brand new) items on sale! Just a fair warning though: the market is quite out of the way, so only make the trip down if you’re committed to get some exercise in. Note that the market is only open on the weekend, from Saturday to Sunday.
@carlo_schutz Watched a video on TikTok about this market and decided to have a look. very far and not worth it if you are a tourist. Still nice to get out and explore. #explore #visitsingapore #sgig #igsg #raregem #singaporelife #singapore

According to these TikTok videos posted by @carlo_schutz, the market is located quite a trek away from the nearest MRT station, Admiralty. Alternatively, we found that you can also take a bus from Sembawang MRT station for a shorter walk to the market. Once you reach the market though, you’ll be greeted by a huge sheltered area dotted with countless tented stalls (hello Chatuchak?), which is great as you’ll be shielded from the hot sun or rain.

Expect lots of pre-loved vintage or retro goods, antiques and wares on display, as the market is primarily a non-profit flea market focussed on reducing waste, upcycling and recycling. You’ll find plenty of old tech and gadgets from the good ol’ days: like film cameras, tapes, knick knacks, collectibles, figurines, watches and accessories. But there will also be new items available like apparel, shoes, kitchenware, lifestyle goods and more.
