Did you know that there’s a free cat playground hidden in Changi Airport? And no, it’s not meant for actual cats—but for humans to play in! This hidden “cat playhouse” is actually an immersive “cottage” experience located at Changi Airport Terminal 2 where you can play and pretend that you’re an actual cat!

The Play Cottage actually looks like a real cat playground (like what you’ll see in cat cafés or in cat owners’ homes), with giant cat “climbing towers” and wall fixtures. There are even mega balls of “yarn” that you can roll and move around the playhouse.

Everything in the cottage is larger-than-life, making you feel as if you’re the cat/kitten playing in a cat house! There are even adorable illustrations by famed English artist Louis Wain, with his signature style of drawing large-eye cats and kittens

The Play Cottage is part of a Claude Monet-themed art exhibition and installation, called Monet: A Journey Through Seasons at Changi. The immersive art exhibition lets you experience the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn through floral displays and IG-worthy backdrops.
