Balenciaga’s bold and edgy flair meets Gucci’s timeless elegance in the latest edition of The Hacker Project—a one-of-a-kind team-up by two of the most iconic fashion houses in the world that pushes the boundaries of what is authenticity, counterfeiting and appropriation in the world of fashion.
Key pieces from Gucci post-Balenciaga hacker treatment include some of Gucci’s signature bags and accessories, only with the iconic GG monogram replaced by the double-B Balenciaga logo. Gucci’s duffle bag also sports a very Balenciaga-esque makeover with the phrase “This Is Not A Gucci Bag” graffitied in bold, spray-painted font.
