There’s a new gorgeous botanical café in town! Enter Nico Café: the latest addition to Fleursophy Group, a popular chain of cafés and concepts by the folks at Nicole’s Flower.
Unlike most of their other café concepts, Nico is entirely al fresco, situated right outside The Zall Bookstore. Stepping into the café feels like walking into a magical floral wonderland, with elegant Parisian vibes thanks to the umbrellas and rattan furniture.
There’s plenty of IG-worthy spots all around, with hanging botanical passageways and tunnels decorating the space. The decor at Nico is more focussed on foliage and greenery, with pops of lilac blooms sprinkled around.
Since it’s located outside a bookstore, they’ve also incorporated quirky book-themed elements into the decor, like embedding it into the walls, and having an entire wall of books as a backdrop!
Enjoy a spread of beautifully presented brunch items and bar snacks such as Guacamole Tamago Sando ($11.90), Wagyu Beef Sando ($19.90), Baked Eggs Skillet ($12.90), Ssamjang Iberico Pork Secreto Donburi ($18.90), Sweet & Savoury Toast ($8.90), Mixed Berries Cheesecake Souffle Pancake ($21.90) and more.
For sweet endings, there are also handcrafted desserts like waffles, cakes and cookies including Yuzu Gin Tart ($7.90), Ispahan Choux Puff ($7.90), Pistachio Dacquoise ($11.90) and Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($9.90), just to name a few.
The café sits outside Wheelock Place, facing the bustling Orchard Road: perfect for people-watching as you enjoy your afternoon brunch while soaking in the gorgeous sun rays.
