Your weekend plans are here, with one of Singapore’s biggest halal food festivals happening this weekend! For just 3 days only, FUNWORLD@BAYFRONT will be happening at Marina Bay with more than 70 vendors, viral eats, carnival games, amusement rides, live entertainment and more!
50 halal F&B stalls & viral eats
Foodies can look forward to some 50 different F&B vendors, including popular names offering trendy eats available exclusively at the event!
One of the most hyped vendors at the festival has got to be the famous (or infamous) SGFR, a candy store known for importing hard-to-find international treats into Singapore. They’re also one of the first in Singapore to bring in the ultra-famous FIX Chocolate from Dubai, and have even made their very own version of the viral Kunafe Chocolate bars, called “Kunafe Cwumble Cwunch”, that are available only at FUNWORLD.
Other popular eats you can find at the event include flavoured soda drinks dispensed from a “petrol kiosk” ($6), build-your-own kunafe (from $12), smashed burgers ($12), honeycomb ice cream (from $5.90), cream-stuffed roti ($10), deep fried cheese banana (from $8), seafood shellout ($18), stuffed doughnuts ($2), fried cempedak ($15) and more.
You’ll also get some Malay festival favourites like freshly-fried lekor, briyani, satay, jong kong desserts, otah, deram pop and lok lok skewers among others.
Family-friendly carnival games & rides
What’s a festival without some fun and games? There’s something for the whole gang with 12 different amusement rides and retro carnival games where you can snag prizes to take home.
Some rides and games to expect include Euro Swing, Royal Carousel, Mini Galleon, Toss-A-Ball and Ferris Wheel, just to name a few.
Retail shopping & live entertainment all day long
After all that eating and playing, why not go for a little retail therapy? There’s some 15 retail shops selling anything from apparel, bags, accessories, handmade crafts and fragrances.
There’s also lots of entertainment and activities happening throughout the day, including interactive performances, music bands, street performers and even live meet & greet sessions with the characters from Madagascar and Upin & Ipin. Entrance to FUNWORLD@BAYFRONT is free, and it’s happening from now till 21st July 2024.
