The whimsical outdoor carnival is located at Cathay Green in Orchard, and gives off an old-school steampunk-esque fairground vibe. The fair stars a colossal 5-metre tall “dancing” ballerina spinning on a giant “music box”, and you can catch the ballerina’s “dance performance” at certain timings daily.

Unlike conventional carnivals with automated rides, The Dancer’s Fair features quirky rides all powered by humans—yes, you’ll actually have to work for your rides here! Some unique rides include a Ferris Wheel with discarded baskets and actual toilet bowls for seats, The Hammocks where you can lay down while being rocked gently, a Mini Carousel made from scrap objects, and Iron “Tree” that spins around and more.
