If you’re unfamiliar with sugar painting, it’s a traditional Chinese folk art that uses hot, molten sugar to create detailed shapes or figures on a stone/marble board. Sugar painting is a popular street snack in China, loved by kids and adults alike because of how beautiful and intricate they are.

For a limited time only (end date unspecified), HDL Plaza Singapura will be offering live sugar painting demonstrations where diners can redeem a free sugar painting! Redemptions are limited to 1 per receipt, no minimum spending required, while stocks last. The sugar painting is available on weekdays from Mondays to Fridays before 5pm, but do check ahead with the outlet if the sugar painting master is in on the day you want to visit!
