After nearly 2 years in the works, Dhoby Ghaut’s beloved lifestyle mall, The Cathay, is finally re-opening! Well, at least, soft-launching. The 7-storey mall is now open for the public to visit, and if you’re stopping by, here’s a first look inside.

Taking centre stage at The Cathay is a massive 360-degree multimedia tower showcasing immersive digital graphics that you can see from all around the mall.
There’s also a new communal area with steps where you can sit and relax in view of the tower. There’s a total of 7 levels in the mall, with F&B, retail, wellness, entertainment and education as well.
Currently, there aren’t many tenants that are up and running for business; a couple of F&B and retail stores like Starbucks, Fore Coffee, Kebuke, Saizeriya and Gift.ed are open for now. If you’d like to explore the mall when there are more tenants available, we’d recommend visiting around the end of May or April 2025, as more stores will be opening progressively from now till around June 2025.
