If you’re a gashapon addict, you’re going to want to hear this: Gashapon Bandai’s first-ever official store in Singapore has just opened today (25th May 2023) and NEX! The new store boasts over 300 gashapon machines to choose from, all brought in directly from Japan—truly a haven for gashapon fans.
There are lots of different collectibles to look out for, from well-known and popular characters like One Piece, Pokémon, Doraemon, Shin Chan, Miffy, Tom & Jerry, Power Rangers, Spy Family and more! The machines are also divided into sections so you can shop by category, such as “Anime”, “Cool”, “Cute”, “Living Things”, “Hobby” and “Game”, just to name a couple. You can also search for specific products you want via their website here to check if there’s stock in-store.

Capsules are mostly priced from $4 to $10 each. As an opening promotion, they will also be giving away free tote bags and stickers when you spend a minimum of $50 in a single receipt. Note that the freebies are limited to the first 200 sets only, and are available only on opening day, 25th May 2023. Aside from the official store on Level 3 of NEX, there are also more gashapon machines at the pop-up located at the Level 1 Atrium (till 28th May 2023).
