The popular Mookata traditional Thai BBQ joint has reopened at Yishun, this time with a brand new indoor restaurant concept, and even a conveyor belt system! Mookata boasts the first-ever sushi conveyor belt-style mookata buffet that’s fully air-conditioned!

No more sweating in the outdoors while grilling your mookata, you can now feast comfortably in air-conditioned comfort. Each grill also comes with its own exhaust pipe to suck up all the BBQ smells!

Mookata’s new buffet concept does away with the usual self-serve buffet bar/station where you pick your own food items. Instead, they have a conveyor belt running throughout the whole restaurant, with individually plated dishes that you can simply grab off the belt, you won’t even need to leave your seat!

The buffet is priced at just $20.80 per person from Mondays to Thursdays, and $23.90 per person on Fridays to Sundays, as well as on public holidays. Everything on the conveyor belt is included as part of the buffet, with unlimited meats, seafood, vegetables, sides and more. Some highlights from the buffet include US Beef Shortplate, Pork Collar, Tomyum Chicken Thigh, Pork Suriyaki, Streaky Bacon, Flower Squid, De-shelled Oyster, Prawn, Mussel, Bamboo Clam, Baby Octopus, Cheese Tofu, Lobster Ball, Mama Mee and much more!
