You’re familiar with the usual cat and dog pet cafés in Singapore, but have you ever been to an alpaca café? Unfortunately this alpaca café is not located in Singapore, but it’s pretty close—only across the border in JB, just under 30 minutes away from the checkpoint!

As Clouds Café is the first-ever alpaca petting café in JB, and is a fully-fledged café-restaurant that houses two free-roaming alpacas that you can freely pet and interact with! There’s no entrance fee or minimum spending required to enter, but you do have to be a paying dine-in customer of As Clouds Café in order to be able to pet the alpacas.

The alpacas are pretty friendly, and will even come up to your table to be petted, or to ask for treats. You can also request for complimentary carrot sticks from the café staff to feed the alpacas with, at no extra charge at all!

On the menu is a selection of Western fusion brunch items, desserts and specialty drinks. There’s Fish & Chips (RM 23.90), Japanese Katsu Curry Salmon Omurice (RM 23.90), as well as pizzas, burgers, salads and more; and they even have the viral jiggly Big Cat Pudding (RM 15) too!
