Peng Jia Zhou is located in the Bedok area, and it’s Singapore’s first-ever DIY porridge concept. How it works is you pick your favourite ingredients straight from their self-service topping bar, and your porridge will be cooked to order with all the toppings you’ve selected. The porridge itself is free and included with the price, all you pay for is the ingredients you’ve selected. There’s no separate pricing for each ingredient, all of them are priced by weight at $5 per 100g.

They’ve got a wide variety of over 15 ingredients you can choose from for your porridge, including meats and seafood too. Some classic options available include minced pork, scallops, fish slices, prawn paste, mushroom, cuttlefish, intestine, beef slices and more.

Additional porridge toppings like Century Egg ($0.50/scoop) and Salted Egg ($0.50/scoop) are also available. You can also choose to jazz up your porridge meal further by adding sides like Golden You Tiao ($0.80), Hakka Style Fried Pork ($5.90), Pang’s Century Egg ($5.90) and more.
