Our sunny Singapore shores have seen a large influx of famous American chains in recent years – there were the burger joints Shake Shack and Five Guys in 2019, breakfast sandwich chain Eggslut in 2021 and now, we’re getting our very own Cinnabon, known for the world’s most famous cinnamon roll.
Cinnabon first opened in 1985 in Seattle, Washington, where a father-and-son duo just wanted to create the world’s most famous cinnamon roll – from scratch. Upon their launch, the obsession was instant, and Cinnabon grew to become the chain it is today.
Expect big, plush rolls filled with Indonesian Makara Cinnamon, and their trademarked Ooey-Gooey cream cheese frosting that’s swept atop their rolls for a final layer of perfection.
Other than their Classic Roll, we’re also hoping to see some of their signature menu items like the Caramel Pecanbon, CinnaSweeties, and their Mochalatta Chill frozen beverage.
Cinnabon has franchise operations in 50 countries, and most recently opened in Jakarta in June 2022, which saw many queuing up to half an hour for a bite of this delicious baked good.
