We love when bars have a distinct and unique concept, such as this speakeasy hidden behind a mirror or this luxe vintage bar inspired by travel—so here’s another classy new bar with a novel theme to add to your list!
Farrer Horse is a regal and elegant bar located in a preserved shophouse that’s inspired by Singapore’s old racecourse, way back in 1842—Singapore’s very first horse-racing venue, no less. The gorgeous 2-storey space is equestrian-themed and resembles a stable, with equestrian green and tangerine hues, gold trimmings and decked with illustrations of the Farrer Park Racecourse during its heyday.
The first storey holds the Dining Room, serving up modern Asian and local-inspired dishes like Top Shell Kerabu ($15), Otah Ravioli ($28), Kampong Bowl ($22) and more. Head to the second floor for tipples at the Stable Bar, with handcrafted horse-themed cocktails ($22 each) like the Secretariat, Kelso, Rocket Man and Man o’ War, just to name a few.
