These edible apple cups come as a set when you order their new 1.4-litre Apple Makgeolli jug ($25), with 1 apple cup per person for up to 4 apple cups per jug.
If you’re new to makgeolli: it’s a kind of traditional Korean alcoholic drink made from rice, with a tart and lightly sparkling flavour profile, think of it as fermented rice wine!

The apple cups are made to order: the tops of the whole apple is first sliced off to create a “lid” and the insides of the apple is cored to create the cup. You can then pour the makgeolli straight into the apple cup and drink from it, just like any other regular cup! After you’re done drinking, you can go right ahead to eat the cup itself—super healthy, right?
