Ever wished you could have a special charm or talisman that could bring you good luck, fortune and protection? Little Moon Crib has just the thing for you with their unique Spell Jar Workshop where you can DIY your own personal charm for protection, abundance and more!
The idea for this Spell Jar Workshop stems from the traditional spell casting practices done by witches of old, where witches used to cast spells to curse or place hexes on others. But not to worry—there will be no cursing or hexing involved in this workshop; rather, these intention spell jars are meant to create positive transformation and help you to manifest your goals.
Little Moon Crib currently has 2 different spell jars available, one for Protection and another for Abundance. Disclaimer: these spell jars are not a be all and end all for all your problems, though the spells can act as a powerful accelerator, you still have to physically work towards achieving your aims.
This 1 to 2-hour workshop is fully guided: the friendly folks at Little Moon Crib will be with you every step of the way to guide you on what to do and how to manifest and project your desired intentions into the process. We first start by cleansing the jar of negative energy, before placing the crystals and herbs into the jar one by one. Each herb or element corresponds to a positive outcome that you wish to achieve or attain, such as wealth, luck, strength, calmness, power and more.
The final step before sealing the jar is to insert the “manifestation”, a Viking sigil written on a bay leaf. Once done, we’re ready to seal the jar with wax; how you want to seal the jar is entirely up to you, you can choose to use as little or as much wax as you like. We quite like the aesthetic look of the wax dripping down the sides of the bottle, so we might have gone a little ham during this part—if you don’t like how the wax looks, you can always scrape it off after!
Once you’re satisfied with how the wax looks on your bottle, the finishing touch will be to impress Little Moon Crib’s custom-made crescent seal on the top and colour it in with gold ink for that extra pizazz. You can keep your personal spell jars somewhere near you like on your desk or by your bedside for the best results.
Overall, we think the Spell Jar Workshop is a super relaxing and calming experience; and even if you’re not into the idea of spells, the jar makes for a really pretty decorative item and keepsake! You’ll also get to bring home the entire Spell Jar kit, including all the specially curated tools, leftover herbs, and even the custom-made wax seal so you can easily make other spell jars at home!

Little Moon Crib is founded by a group of 3 friends and fellow crystal enthusiasts: Shanice (@shopsoleilco), Tiffany (@lovegoodcrystals) and Sasha (@auralitecrystals). Known as more of a lifestyle boutique selling various crystals and curios, you’ll find all sorts of pretty things in-store.
Expect lots of crystals in varying shapes, colours and sizes: from large towers, spheres and geodes, to polished crystals, tumbles, carved stones, accessories and more. They also have Tibetian singing bowls, wall decor, palo santo and many more.
