A paradise for those who can’t get enough of dogs
Fellow dog lovers, no trip to Bangkok is complete without a stop by one of their most famous pet cafes, Dog In Town – a dog paradise in hipster Ekkamai just 30-minutes away from shopping district Siam!
Home to a handful of dogs that range from small breeds like the Corgi, Frenchie, and West Highland White Terrier to larger beauts such as the Shiba Inu, Poodle, Samoyed, and Husky, Dog In Town’s extra special because the dogs there get to roam around freely all day in the cafe.
Unlike most other pet cafes, there are no fixed play times. Instead, you’re welcomed to give them belly rubs and head scratches at any time of the day, and all you have to do is to pay an entry fee of 300 baht (approx. SGD$13), which will come with a complimentary drink of your choice.
They have coffee, tea, soda, smoothies, and milkshakes for you to choose from!
Dog treats are also available at 100 baht (approx. SGD$4.30) per packet, but do take note to not feed those with an adorable scarf on – they’re on a strict diet for health reasons.
There’s more – besides light bites for the hoomans, Dog In Town offers a wide variety of hearty burgers, pasta, and rice dishes too. Interesting picks include the Tom Yum Seafood Spaghetti, Taro Cheese Burger, and signature dessert, which is a Krispy Kreme doughnut served with vanilla ice-cream.
P.S. Make sure to keep an eye on your food at all times because some of the mischievous pups will attempt to steal a bite!
“Can I have some of that, please?”
The dogs are also let outdoors every hour for them to run about and go crazy with their toys, so take the chance to frolic in the sun with them!
