Taste all the Food from the Movie ‘Chef’ at this 5D Dining Experience

If you’ve never felt hungry watching the movie Chef, or El Jefe, you’re lying. The 2014 American comedy-drama blockbuster, starring Jon Favreau and Sofia Vergara, is essentially a film about cooking and food porn dishes. So lust-worthy is the food featured in this iconic show that local cooking school, Cookyn Inc, has a 5D dining experience based on it.

For those unaware, Cookyn’s 5D dining experience is a sensory movie screening with food. The inhouse chefs recreate food that’s featured exactly in the movie and serve it out as the scene plays. So say Carl from Chef whips up a mean Roasted Pork Belly — you have it on your table pronto. Other delights to look forward to include Fried Sugar Donuts, Cuban Popcorn and Aglio Olio — all featured in the movie!

What’s more, the chefs cook the dishes on the spot so you can smell them as they’re being prepared — truly a feast for the senses.

Apart from Chef, Cookyn has also hosted other 5D movie dining sessions, such as Jimami Tofu and Ratatouille. Similarly, those screenings also saw food from the movies served in real life.
