Japan is home to some of the best (and weirdest) snacks in the world, and this one’s no different. Everyone loves the iconic Baby Star Ramen snack, with its classic salty and umami soy sauce flavour—but to have it as a sweet dessert?

Oyatsu Company, the maker of Baby Star Ramen, has teamed up with famed ice cream bar maker, Takeshita Seita to concoct a sweet and savoury ice cream treat! This funky snack/dessert is available for avid Baby Star Ramen fanatics (or really brave souls) to try at Family Mart convenience stores in Japan and retails for ¥151. Given how Singapore has her own fair share of strange snacks and desserts (see the Coriander Lollipops and Coriander Gelato) it’s probably only a matter of time before the Baby Star Ramen Ice Cream Bar reaches our shores too.
