When we think of a butchery, we often think of massive slabs of fresh meat—from beef, pork to chicken, a butcher displays various types and cuts of choice meats ready to be sold to meat lovers all around. So, how on earth can a butchery be vegan?

Love Handle achieves this seemingly impossible feat, being Singapore’s very first vegan butchery and café all rolled into one! On the surface, Love Handle looks just like any other meat-based butchery, with sausages, steaks, charcuterie and more on display, except the only difference is that everything is plant-based and vegan.
For vegans and those who would like to give plant-based meats a shot, you’ll find vegan meat options like Impossible Beef Wellington, plant-based steaks, TiNDLE cultured chicken fillets and more! But Love Handle isn’t just a butchery, you can also sit down for a bite to eat!
Naturally, the menu features several plant-based items like Mom’s Luncheon Meat ($10), made from Omnimeat Luncheon, Philly Cheesesteak ($21), Pulled Rendang Burger ($16) and more. Even if you’re averse to vegetables and plant-based foods, there’s definitely something for everyone.
