The iconic Birkenstock brand is now cooler than ever, and they’ve just unveiled a gorgeous new shophouse store in Duxton featuring heritage elements and beautiful architecture, including a colossal Birkenstock shoe wall complete with lush greenery and water features!

Dubbed as the House of Birkenstock, this latest store is nestled within an authentic heritage shophouse, and is the first store of its kind in Southeast Asia. The aesthetic and decor of the store champions old-school elements of local culture: from the traditional Chinese-style wooden signboard, handmade paper lanterns, vintage tiles and other Peranakan-inspired design aspects. There’s even a 6-metre high “Birkenstock wall” featuring the iconic shoes with mini waterfalls and plant features.

The House offers some 200 shoe models, including iconic favourites and classic styles. It’s also the first-ever store in Southeast Asia to have the Birkenstock 1774 range: an exclusive line of footwear that showcases the brand’s various collaborations.

Aside from shopping for shoes, the House of Birkenstock will also offer new and exclusive services such as customisation and personalisation; plus repair services for existing Birkenstock owners—in line with the brand’s sustainability philosophy.
