This year’s Artbox has over 300 vendors, from food, lifestyle to games! We cover all the booths you should check out at this year’s garden paradise-themed event, as well as a quick inside look at carnival grounds. Ready?
FOOD
- The Juicy Way (Booth 196)
Quench your thirst with blended fruit drinks from The Juicy Way, the smoothie bar in Singapore that revolutionised fresh fruit juices. Find juices specially curated just for Artbox Singapore 2019, such as The Eden (a strawberry, guava and spinach mix) and Northern Lights (a mango, honeydew and blue pea flower mix). Prices start from $5.
2. Teabrary (CP8)
If you’re looking for tea-based beverages, Teabrary is the place to go to. All teas use actual tea leaves from Taiwan and some even come with housemade pudding and jelly. They’re also served in stylish, recyclable bottles, so that’s a bonus. If you didn’t know, Teabrary is opened by Mediacorp artiste Vivian Lai — so if you’re lucky, you may just spot her at the booth. From $3.90 a bottle.
3. Grypthon Tea
Highly popular tea brand Gryphon Tea will also be there! Find teas inspired by flavours from Asia as well as sparkling ones. Quench your thirst with popular flavours like Berry Yummy and Cherry Poppin. Best of all, you get to bring home their super pretty cups too! From $9.90 a cup.
4. Dum Dum Milk Tea (CP4)
No night market would be completed without Thai milk tea. Get your fix at Dum Dum Milk Tea, the wildly popular Indonesian brand that sells coffee and tea imported from various regions in Thailand. Prices start at $5 a cup.
5. MONKI (CP8)
If you’ve been to Taiwan and find yourself constantly missing their street food, hurry satisfy your cravings at MONKI. This authentic Taiwanese stall sells hot favourites such as Braised Pork Rice ($9), Intestine Mee Sua ($7) and set meals from $11.
6. Beef Bros SG (CP2)
If you haven’t tried Beef Bros, the latest household name in the hipster market scene, you should. We highly recommend the Mentaiko Beef Cubes which is torched before serving. Other dishes include Tom Yum Wagyu Beef Burger with Truffle Fries ($28) and Truffle Beef Cubes ($16.90).
7. Big Big Fries (Booth 105)
You’re gonna be seeing Big Big Fries everywhere you go, because not only are their fries highly Instagrammable, they’re also huge! Their 25cm fries start at $7.90 for classic dressings such as Nacho Cheese and Seaweed Mayonnaise. You can also opt for their Half ($9.90), where you get to choose two flavours including Mentaiko Mayonnaise and Pink Salt.
8. Hot Star Fried Chicken (CP1)
No street food experience is complete without XXL chicken. Get yours from Hot Star, one of Taiwan’s hottest fried chicken joints. The booth at Artbox will feature a Tomyum special ($6.50), which is tangy, spicy, and extremely addictive.
9. Tie Fun Wan (Booth 83)
At Tie Fun Wan, find modern versions of Taiwan’s classic lu rou fan. From $14, get premium japanese pearl rice, signature pork and onsen egg inside your bowl.
10. Oddball (Booth 82)
Pop by Oddball for Instagrammable ice cream. Ice creams are topped with meringue and then torched. Flavours include Lavender Honey and Belgium Chocolate. We got the Lavender Honey, which had a taste of floral sweetness. A scoop costs $5.50; top up an additional $2 for the torched meringue.
11. Golden Bee Street Food (Booth 79)
At Golden Bee, find a variety of street food. Though they specialise in Japanese Takoyaki ($6.50) that comes in sotong, prawn and chicken and cheese, you may also go for the Japanese Pizza ($8.50) with crabmeat, salmon, prawn or chicken toppings.
12. Thai Food (Booth 86)
At this little Thai booth, find Thai Boat Noodles ($7) and Tomyum Maggie ($7). The Tomyum Maggie is satisfyingly spicy!
13. Chick-It (Booth 97)
Chick-It is a store that sells everything fried. Order the Large Crispy Squid ($8) and choose from unique flavours like Sour Plum. Other items worth trying include Golden Squid Head ($5) and Grilled Prawns ($4). Choose from Original or Hot & Spicy flavour.
14. Pasta2Go & The Bulb Station (Booth 38)
Quirky drinks will always be a thing at Artbox — like these drinks out of a bulb at The Bulb Station. Choose from flavours like Fruity Rainbow Soda, Malty Chocolate and Zesty Grape Sofa. All drinks at $4.50. They also sell classics like Spaghetti Chicken Bolognese ($6.80), Mac and Cheese ($6.80) and Cheezy Fries ($5.50).
15. Chug to Chugs (Booth 57)
This new brand may come off as just another store that sells pretty drinks, but their drinks are worth a try, especially if you’re not a fan of sugary drinks. We tried the Butterfly Blossom Bubbly Lemonade ($5), which tasted like sparkling lemonade with a hint of lavender. Other options include Pink Grapefruit Bubbly Lemonade ($5) and Lychee Bubbly Lemonade ($5).
16. Kazo (CP5)
Go crazy with all the puffs available at Kazo, the Taiwanese bakery that’s famous for their cream puffs. Choose from flavours like Hokkaido and Chocolate Cream, Cheese and even Durian! Prices start at 1 for $3.50, 3 for $10, 6 for $18.
17. The Swag Social (Booth 93)
The Swag Social is known for being one of the best F&B caterers in the events scene, so it’s no wonder they’re at Artbox. We highly recommend trying the Yakiniku Beef Cubes ($10). Tip: Eat them while they’re hot to experience the full goodness of the beef cubes!
18. The Lobster Bay (Booth 87)
Treat yourself to lobster at The Lobster Bay. But it need not come at an exorbitant price; a Classic Lobster Roll sets you back at $14 for 40g and $20 for 90g. Don’t miss out on their Artbox special Tom Yum Lobster ($14 for 40g and $20 for 90g) too. The lobsters used are extremely fresh as well. All lobster rolls are served with cassava chips!
19. Baby Bossku (Booth 60)
Drinking out of a milk bottle as an adult? Come on — get yours at local brand Baby Bossku for $6! Choose from flavours between Strawberry, Salted Caramel and Gula Melaka. Besides drinks, they also have food like Nachos ($6) and Pasta ($6).
20. O’Braim (Booth 14)
Introducing O’Braim, the stall that sells everything in mini donuts. Think Goreng Pisang with a modern twist. Try the Rainbow Dazzle Donuts ($6), Choco Loco Banana ($6) and Strawberry Cheesecake Banana (5). They’re also the guys behind Singapore’s first mini donut burger – get yours at $3!
21. Candy Bar (Booth 71)
Just when we thought we’ve seen enough of cute yet ridiculous looking food at Artbox, we come across Gudetama-shaped candy floss from Candy Bar, Singapore’s first sculpted candy floss maker. Designs range from $7 to $10. Find characters like Minions and Big Head Duck!
22. Booth 120
Find interesting snacks at this booth such as Dino Jelly Bean and Melingo Chips. They even have Guylian coffee drinks made with Belgian Chocolate! Mix and match your items at 1 for $2 and 3 for $4.

LIFESTYLE
1. Bagel (Booth 193)
Shop pretty oriental clutches from Bagel. The new local label’s items are perfect to kickstart your Chinese New Year shopping, if you ask.
2. Thriftanic (Booth 195)
Cop vintage Nike and Champion from Thriftanic and look like the coolest kid in town! All vintage goods are handpicked. This is also the first time Artbox is allowing a vintage shop to set up store, so go show your support.
3. Ginger (Booth 210)
Up your outfit game with accessory label, Ginger. They carry a plethora of designs, from mermaid earrings to dangly ones. The more you buy, the more you save as well! Get $1 off when you buy 2; $3 off when you buy 3; and $10 off when you buy 5.
4. Crooked Crochet (Booth 201)
At Crooked Crochet, all items are designed and created in-house and involve elements of crochet. Find Earphone Cases ($17), Clutches ($45) and Pouches ($35).
5. Booth 121
Get adorable tees at Booth 121. Find random quirky designs like dogs, cats, and burgers and fries! All tees retail at 1 for $15 and 2 for $25.
6. Henna Jagua Tattoos (Booth 126)
Looking to get temporary tattoos? Henna Jagua is the place to do it. Here, the tattoo is drawn using Jagua — a organic fruit based ink that’s gentle on your skin. Designs start from $15.
7. LOMA.WHALE (Booth 174)
Shop Chatuchak’s LOMA.WHALE at Artbox. Shop their classy, flowy staples — a must for Singapore’s weather!
8. Moonset Collection (Booth 176)
Yet another Chatuchak favourite. We love this comfy duffel-like bag made of suede for casual use. We heard it’s extremely durable as well!
There’s even a dedicated arcade area by Fat Cat Arcade and iClaw Taiwan! Go crazy playing Para Para, Basketball and win as many plushies as possible at their claw machines.
CARNIVAL GROUNDS
