Singapore has seen its fair share of unique vending machines: from vending machine “doctors”, blind boxes, custom phone cases and more. And now there’s a new kind of vending machine in town, one that dispenses yummy shio pans, freshly baked daily!

The famed Butter Town is known for their shio pans in various flavours, and they’ve just launched their new Shio Pan ATM stationed at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre. The word “ATM” act\ually stands for “Automatic Tasty (shio pan) Machine”, and it operates just like a vending machine, dispensing bags of freshly baked shio pans.

The shio pans come in a set of 3 or 2 pieces, all packed in individual sealed bags. Prices per bag of shio pan start from $7.20, with various flavours as follows:
OG (3pcs) – $7.20
Au Chocolat (3pcs) – $8.40
Garlic Cheese (3pcs) $8.40
Pineapple (2pcs) – $8
Apple Cinnamon (2pcs) $8
Pistachio (2pcs) – $8
The shio pans are baked in batches everyday, with fresh deliveries to the ATM happening twice daily at 12.30pm and 5pm. The Shio Pan ATM has been attracting snaking queues since its launch, with items selling out like hotcakes; so make sure to head down early to snag a bag.
