Tea & Ember is a unique tea parlour that doesn’t serve tea in basic teapots, they’ve got classy “champagne tea” that comes served with some theatrics: smoke and tall champagne glasses. Each table also gets an individual grill where you can customise and brew your own milk tea, and grill up some pairing snacks as well. Some of the snack items you can DIY on the grill include rice mochi, marshmallows, peanuts, chestnuts, dates and oranges.

Tea sets come with various snack platters, and some highlights from the menu include Stove-iced Tea (from RM52.80), Roasted Rose Black Milk Tea (from RM 36.80), Claypot Iced Milk Tea (RM 23.80), Stove Boiled Tea (from RM33.80) and more. The café is located in Mount Austin, quite a ways away from the bustling city centre, but is worth the ~35 minute drive down if you’re looking for somewhere to relax that’s further from the crowd.
