1. Hello Arigato Tiong Bahru

If Hello Arigato is one of your favourite Japanese cafés in Singapore, heads up: they’ve just opened their 5th outlet in the charming Tiong Bahru neighbourhood! Aside from their iconic sandos, you’ll also be able to try new local-inspired sando flavours, and there’s also a dedicated matcha bar at the new outlet.

The aesthetic space has a similar Nordic-inspired vibe like the rest of Hello Arigato’s outlets, and there will also be new, outlet-exclusive menu items you can try. These include Hae Bee Hiam Pasta ($20), Yuzu Honey Chicken Sando ($16), Strawberry Matcha Cloud ($6), Coco Orh Nee Cloud ($5) and more.

2. Taira Pastry

Tucked away at SAFRA Tampines is Taira Pastry, a crowd-favourite online dessert brand known for their tarts and cakes; and now they’ve opened a physical café where you can dine-in! The minimalist café is spacious, with cosy table and bar seating available for you to enjoy your bakes.

Signatures from the menu include a selection of mini tartlets, tarts, cookies, sponge cakes, puff pastries and croissants, among others. You can also build-your-own pastry (from $10.50) with your favourite toppings and spreads, plus enjoy specialty drinks like hand-brewed coffee, tea and matcha.

Located in Jalan Besar is Cofreely, a new chic and stylish café offering artisanal bakes and coffee. Cofreely boasts a modern, contemporary interior with monochrome hues of black, grey and white, accented by a statement wave-esque wall feature.

Who would’ve thought coffee and focaccia could pair so well together? Muro Coffee is a new minimalist café that specialises in both coffee and house made focaccia sandwiches. Located in a shophouse space, Muro features a monochromatic loft-style vibe and interior.

The new outlet is also pet-friendly, and features various animatronic animals decorating the space: from kangaroos, koalas, giraffes, flamingos and more.

It’s clean sunshine vibes at Cafe Wabi Sabi’s new Scandinavian-inspired outlet at Joo Chiat. The new space is cosy and homey, with raw textured furnishings and wood accents, offering Japanese comfort food items with a modern touch.

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen an all-pink café, and Pink Charlotte is bringing the trendy colour back with a dreamy coquette-inspired and pink-themed vibe. Located within a Hougang neighbourhood estate, Pink Charlotte is a patisserie and dessert spot for a post-dinner sweet treat.
