Not sick of kunafa yet? If you’re still all about the kunafa hype: here’s a new kunafa dessert you can check out. Popular muslim-owned dessert chain from Malaysia, Honeybee, has just launched a new series of Kunafa Ice Cream treats, now available at their Haji Lane outlet!
The new Kunafa Ice Cream are priced at $9.50 each, and come with generously heaping double swirls of ice cream, layered with crumbles or cornflakes for texture, and of course various flavours of kunafa. The kunafa sprinkles are added in between the ice cream, and as a final topping, so you get that crunch throughout.

There’s also various flavours of chocolate sauce drizzled for each one. There are currently 4 Kunafa Ice Cream flavours launched at Honeybee: Pistachio, Red Velvet, Nutella and Strawberry. If you like your ice cream extra sweet you can get either the Pistachio or Red Velvet flavours, as they come with a slab of fresh honeycomb on top.

While Pistachio is probably the most familiar and classic kunafa flavour, our favourite was actually the Nutella, with rich chocolatey sauce and topped with more crushed Nutella cookie crumbles. The Strawberry is also a good option if you’re looking for a more light and fruity flavour that’s not overly rich.
These Kunafa Ice Cream are now available at Honeybee’s Haji Lane outlet, but they’ll soon be made available at all other outlets in Singapore soon; so you can stay tuned to their Instagram for the latest updates.
