CLAMS MAN 91 is a new late-night lala claypot spot in JB, located less than 15 minutes away from the checkpoint; and they’ve got some of the biggest jumbo lala clams we’ve ever seen for their lala claypot hotpot! All their lala comes live, straight from the tanks displayed within the restaurant—so it’s probably as fresh as it gets. They also boast 4.9 stars on Google, with customers raving about how fresh and massive their lala clams are.

Their TuaTuaLiap Clam Pot (RM98.80; ~$30 SGD) comes with massive “fist-sized” jumbo lala clams that are at least 3-4 times bigger in size than regular lala clams; or you can get the Classic Clams Pot (RM38.80; ~$12 SGD) with regular-sized clams as well. They even have more unique claypot options we’ve hardly seen at other lala joints: like shrimp paste-stuffed lala clams, plus giant cheesy prawns too.

As with any other lala claypot hotpot, you can also add on other hotpot ingredients (from RM2.90; ~$0.90 SGD) like Iberico Pork Belly, Pork Tripe, Scallop, Snow Crab Stick, Lobster Ball, Seafood Tofu, Fried Bean Curd and more. CLAMS MAN 91 also opens till 3am daily, so you can consider dropping by for a hearty supper.
