Following the success of the viral Korean bakery pop-up back in February 2024, we have yet another popular Korean bakery pop-up happening in Singapore, and this time it’s all about apple pies! SAGWADANG is one of Korea’s most beloved apple pie brands, with 10 outlets all over Korea, and this is their first-ever international pop-up event, right here in Singapore.
The “sagwa” in SAGWADANG translates to “apples” and they’re famed for their freshly-baked semicircle-shaped apple pies, made with New Zealand butter and filled with premium Yesan apples.
The apple pies are also loved by famous South Korean YouTuber and mukbanger, HeeBab (@hee__bab), who’ll be in Singapore for the pop-up event. Head down to the pop-up on 18th March 2024 and you might just be lucky enough to meet her!

There are 3 different apple pie flavours available at the pop-up: Original Apple Pie ($4.50), Vanilla Apple Pie ($5.40) and Milk Cream Apple Pie ($5.40). For the purists, get the Original Apple Pie—you’ll be able to taste the perfectly crisp and flaky puff pastry, along with the subtle natural sweetness of juicy apple filling.
For some extra sweetness: the Vanilla Apple Pie is generously stuffed with vanilla-infused custard cream, while the Milk Cream Apple Pie features a light and fluffy whipped cream filling—both cream options offer a creamy balance to the slightly crunchy apple filling.
You can get the apple pies individually, or get them in a gift box with your choice of 6 pies! The SAGWADANG pop-up will be in Singapore for 2 weeks only, and is open daily at Bugis Junction, with apple pies for sale while stocks last.
