The space is stunning, bearing some resemblance to the vibe of an Aesop boutique, with aesthetic neutral tones, raw textures and minimalistic decor—the space almost looks like an art gallery of sorts. Find popular Indonesian comfort foods at pocket-friendly prices, like Bakwan Goreng ($4.90), Tahu Crispy ($5.90), Banana Fritters (from $5.90), Toasted Bread (from $5.90) and more.

2. Wooly’s Bagels

This popular Muslim-owned bagel joint has just opened its third outlet along the bustling Arab Street, with a cosy dine-in space and fusion chunky bagels. Spot the café iconic orange-hued decor and furnishings, with a brightly-lit sign beckoning you to come in for “Coffee & Bagels”.

Wooly’s is known for their unique and local-inspired bagels, like the Szechuan Sunrise ($13.30) that features punchy mala-infused chicken, and the Otah Kau ($12.60) that includes mackerel otah and gochujang mayo. For the dessert lovers, there’s even a sweet Bagel S’mores ($7.90) with melty and oozy nutella and marshmallow.

3. The Community Coffee

Taking over the same space that used to be the dearly-missed Lucid café is The Community Coffee, marking the coffee chain’s 4th outlet in Singapore. The new outlet retains the old decor from lucic, with a spacious, industrial-esque minimalist theme and a grey colour palette.

The Community Coffee prides themselves on their own signature blend of coffee beans that are roasted in-house. To pair with their classic coffee brews, they also have a range of desserts that differ on the daily, such as: Lemon Meringue ($8), Spiced Carrot Cake, $5.50, Rose Raspberry ($7) and more.

4. Ralph’s Coffee

After the success of their first outlet at Marina Bay Sands Ralph’s Coffee by Ralph Lauren has opened its second outlet in the heart of town! Just like the first outlet, the new Ralph’s Coffee is tucked within the Ralph Lauren store itself, deced in the brand’s iconic colonial-inspired decor with wood elements, raw brick walls and rich emerald green tones.

Sip on the brand’s iconic Ralph’s Roast coffee brews, as well as signature selection of cookies, cakes and soft serves. A couple of highlights to look forward to include the Blueberry Streusel Loaf Cake ($8.50), Hazelnut Orange Cookie Sandwich (price TBA), Ralph’s Coffee Soft Serve ($9) and more. There’s even a coffee cart adorned with blooms parked outside as a pretty photo op!

5. Acoustics Coffee Bar

The popular Acoustics Coffee Bar has opened its second outlet in Singapore with 2 storeys of space and marked by the iconic soundwave motifs all around! As the name suggests, Acoustics is sound panels and surround sound speakers for the most conducive and work/study-friendly environment.

6. AMI Patisserie

Possibly the hottest dessert café opening in Singapore, the famed AMI Patisserie has finally opened its standalone dine-in café space, and it’s already booked out for months! The Japanese café boasts a stunning Kyoto-style bungalow that’s surrounded by lush greenery, with wood panels and even a private dining space.

Aside from a la carte desserts and pastries, the star of the show at AMI is definitely their dessert-led “omakase”, a 6-course Chef’s Table Discovery Experience ($118++ per person) where you get to savour a selection of savouries, desserts, confectioneries and more. Other treats that are not to be missed include the Seasonal Fruit Tarte (from $18), Awajishima Onion Tarte ($15), Signature Choux (from $11) and Musk Melon Parfait ($38), among others.

7. Working Title

Lasalle folks are in for a treat, with the newly-opened Working Title by The Blackhole Group that’s now nestled within the school’s grounds! The new Working Title at Lasalle boasts a spacious loft-style interior with high ceilings and plenty of communal tables and seats for students (or otherwise) to come and hang out.

A late-night dessert spot that opens till 3am daily? Say less. Miss Gelato is a vibey camping-themed gelato spot in Bugis with an extensive selection of creamy falvours, waffles and coffee! The space is super cosy, and you’ll be sitting low on the floor on beanbags and camping chairs; plus there’s even faux grass, mini tents and fairy lights to make it extra vibey!

The popular Aussie-born donut chain has opened its first outlet in Singapore, serving up authentic Greek lukumades! For those who aren’t familiar with lukumades, they’re essentially little deep-fried donut balls that are doused in a medley of various sauces for a sweet and indulgent treat.

10. Porsche Studio

Don’t be fooled, the Porsche Studio is not just for car lovers, there’s even an in-house café within too! The 2-storey experiential studio is a multi-concept lifestyle space with an in-house café, car showroom, co-working community spaces, retail and more. There’s even an actual Porsche parked within the café itself!

The café called Café Carrera, and it’s run by the folks at Baker & Cook.
