KEI KAISENDON HAS AN ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DONBURI BUFFET ON ALL THEIR DONS FOR $29.90++!

Expert buffet goers will tell you to avoid filling up on carbs like rice or noodles at a buffet, and to focus more on the good stuff, like meats and seafood to make the buffet worth your penny. But what if said buffet is entirely rice-centric—like this Eat All You Can Donburi Buffet that we found by Kei Kaisendon?

Popular donburi specialty restaurant Kei Kaisendon is offering an unlimited Donburi Buffet for $29.90++ per person every Monday and Tuesday at selected outlets in Singapore. While this might sound like a pretty good deal, we do wonder how many of these full-sized dons can one actually consume in one sitting?

The buffet applies to pretty much all the various dons on Kei Kaisendon’s menu, from K1 to K19 (except K14), with the highest priced don being the Chirashi Kaisenson ($28.90), which is still lower than the price of the buffet. Therefore, to make the $29.90++ buffet worth your money, you’ll need to finish 2 dons at the very least. Let’s not forget the 45 minute time limit where you can only order a maximum of 2 dons at once, and the fact that you have to finish the both dons before you can order the next one. Naturally, it also goes without saying that food wastage is not condoned, and will be charged accordingly.

Of course, we’re sure there are plenty of big eaters out there who can conquer multiple servings of these rice-heavy dons in under an hour, no problem. But for us smaller eaters, maybe we’ll just settle for the one.
