WHITE SHADES: SCENIC 4-STOREY ROOFTOP COCKTAIL PLAYGROUND, DESSERT BAR & RESTAURANT!

Located along the bustling Boon Tat Street is White Shades, a new one-of-a-kind 4-storey multi-concept F&B playground by the folks behind Stay Gold Flamingo where you can get food, drinks, dessert all at once, plus stunning rooftop views to boot! Occupying an entire shophouse building, each level of White Shades is dedicated to a different concept, one for desserts, drinks and food, events and a rooftop area.

Dessert café with unique gelato flavours

The first level of White Shades features their dessert bar slash café, where you can get artisanal gelato scoops, alcohol-infused cold brew teas and coffee. The space looks almost like something out of an art gallery, with quirky wonky shaped acrylic furniture, and colourful hanging fixtures from the ceilings—really Instagrammable.

Gelato scoops start from $5 each, with unconventional flavours like White Truffle Chips, Chng Tng Sorbet, Pink Guava Assam Sorbet, Mascarpone Wasabi, Miso Banana and more. They also offer lightly alcohol-infused tea cocktails for a refreshing afternoon tea time drink.

Swanky cocktail bar & restaurant

Move on to the second level and transition into a moody and intimate space reserved for their cocktail experience. Expect theatrical and showy cocktails ($25 each) like the smoky Savi Galloping, that’s encased in a glass chamber. Other bespoke cocktails on the menu include Bomber J, Floral Beauty, Ageing Process and more.

Feeling hungry? There are bar bites and even hearty mains on the menu: like Oysters ($36), Beef Tartare ($22), Steak Frites ($36), Truffle Parm Fries ($12), Double Cheese Burger ($26) and Tagliatelle ($24), to name a couple.

Scenic rooftop & event space

The third level of White Shades is dedicated to events and pop-ups, so you can expect to see various activations, workshops and more happen here in collaboration with other brands/establishments.

The final fourth level holds a gorgeous Parisian-inspired rooftop space, complete with rattan high stools and benches, and even patio umbrellas to shield you from the weather.
