Singapore has a number of dog cafés where you can pet and play some good doggos, but not many that specialise in uber fluffy Chow Chows, save for Chow Cute Café at Seletar. If you’re looking for new cafés where you can play with adorable chow chows, there’s a new Chow Chow-centric café just across the border in JB!

Located just a 25-minute drive away from the checkpoint, the newly-opened Chill ‘N Chow Café is a doggo playhouse and full-fledged dine-in café all in one! The café is housed in a 2-storey shophouse, with the first level being a restaurant, and the second housing a play area for the dogs; with both concepts by Ng Kitchen.

Currently there are 4 chow chows you can pet and play with, but that’s not the most adorable part: all of them are puppies! Think little, floofy balls that you can cuddle with—talk about cuteness overload! Play sessions with these fluffy bundles of joy are priced at RM 15 (~$4.40 SGD) on weekdays and RM 20 (~$5.90 SGD) on weekends. Each session is 1 hour, and you’ll also get a free cup of coconut ice cream with your entry fee. Note that you must have socks on in order to play with the dogs.

After exhausting your energy playing hard with the little puppers, you can stop by the café for some hearty mains, desserts and coffee. Enjoy filling plates with fried chicken, pasta, salmon steaks, assorted snacks and more. They also have a selection of cakes in flavours like Earl Grey Black Tea, Matcha Jasmine, Genmaicha Black Sesame and Mango Passionfruit, just to name a few.
