October is here, heralding everyone’s favourite Oktoberfest-ivities and Halloween! Here are some suggestions to help kickstart the new month – head down to Sentosa for some yoga and indulge in some soulful food at a social market this weekend.
1. Oktoberfest with Resorts World Sentosa
Celebrate the Day of Germany Unity at Resort World Sentosa’s first ever Oktoberfest – the festival we have been waiting all year for. What better excuse to indulge in beer and food, and more beer? Festival goers can look forward to a glorious all-you-can-eat buffet spread of German cuisine like sauerkraut and schnitzel, as well as four different bratwurst exclusively created by the resort’s Michelin-starred and celebrity chef restaurants. 2. Open Farm Community Social Market
OFC’s monthly Social Market is back once again with a wide array of fresh foods, artisan handcrafted goods, and a slew of activities for the whole family. Terrarium workshops, hydroponic greens, beenut butter – where else can we get such a curation of passionate vendors under one roof?

3. Soulscape Festival 2016
Yoga on the beach? Soulscape festival gives you the chance to Shavasana on the smooth sands of Sentosa beach. At this mindful movement campaign, you can also take part in workshops led by professionals and dance to live music. If that is not enough, Soulscape has invited stores selling healthy treats and eco-friendly products that will excite our inner tree-hugger.

4. Spooky Seas
For a month, S.E.A. Aquarium transforms into a pirate-themed Halloween trail. There will be underwater shows, storytelling, craft sessions and an amazing treasure hunt. This isn’t only for the young, but also the young at heart.

5. Salvador Dali & Pierre Argillet: 30 Years of Collaboration
Surrealist artist Salvador Dali’s artwork from the Pierre Argillet collection will be on display, which includes drawings, porcelain works and tapestries. Dali’s mastery as an artist is showcased his ability to use a variety of mediums to create his pieces, and be openminded to explore different themes. The artworks from the collection are a collaboration between the artist and his publisher and confidante, Pierre Argillet.

6. Roktober Fest at Timbre+
Another place to check out for Oktoberfest-ivities, Timbre+ is celebrating a different culinary and musical style each week it is welcome to revellers. Expect Asian, American and European inspired fare, and over 120 different beers at their Bottle Shop. There will also be games for party goers, and bean bags if you prefer to lounge and soak up the atmosphere.
