If you absolutely love Chinese cuisine like meat buns, handmade noodles, spicy soup, snacks and more, you must try QIN JI Rougamo for your next Chinese food fix! QIN JI is a popular fast food chain from China specialising in Chinese “hamburgers”, or rou jia mo. For the uninitiated, rou jia mo (or rou ga mo) is a popular street snack that originated from the Shaanxi province in China, and refers to various meats sandwiched between baked buns—essentially the Chinese equivalent of a Western burger.

QIN JI’s rou ga mo is a little different from the traditional kind, using a flaky croissant-esque pastry instead of a denser flour-based bun. This gives their rou ga mo an ultra crispy and crunchy texture with each bite. Each signature crispy bun is freshly baked upon order and starts from a pocket-friendly $2.70 each! There are a couple of different fillings you can choose from: Qinji Pork Rougamo ($5.30), Chicken Rougamo ($5.30), Black Pepper Beef Rougamo ($5.90) and more.

For something more substantial, they also have various noodles and snacks to choose from, like Sour & Spicy Potato Noodle with Minced Pork ($8), Pickled Cabbage Fish with Rice Noodles ($9.10), Mala Chicken ($7) and Braised Sichuan Sliced Beef ($7.50), just to name a few. QIN JI currently has 3 outlets in Singapore: Alexandra Retail Centre, Guoco Tower, and the latest outlet at One Raffles Place.
