You might have heard of “Dearborn”, which used to be a private diner known as Dearborn Supper Club and was run by Chef Christopher Kong. When the Circuit Breaker hit, Chef Kong decided to convert Dearborn into an online business, so people could get his highly popular granolas by the bag.
Amidst the Circuit Breaker, Dearborn soon bloomed and blossomed in popularity, as fans of granola just could not get enough of the breakfast staple. The roaring success of Dearborn’s online business prompted Chef Kong to finally open a physical storefront.
Now, the new Dearborn café at Everton Park acts as a production kitchen for all their specialty granola, as well as a granola café where you can sit down and enjoy a granola bowl for breakfast. The space is soothing to say the least, with soft curves, green and woody tones—perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast.
You can still get Dearborn’s freshly baked granola by the bag to go (from $16), or sit down for a bowl of granola with Greek or coconut yogurt (from $8) in classic flavours like Berries, Chocolate & Hazelnut, Cranberry Coconut and more! Don’t miss out on one of their specialty drinks either: Cucumber and Lemon Soda ($6) or Yuzu and Citrus Soda ($7), just to name a few.
