Singapore’s very own homegrown sneaker retailer, Limited Edt, has teamed up with adidas to release the premium Adidas Consortium Batik Collection.
It features two of 2015’s most popular models from adidas, the ZX Flux and Superstar 80s. Inspired by the Nation’s culture and heritage, the Superstar and ZX Flux models incorporate intricate Batik inspired fabric on the upper and highlighted with rose gold accents to signify Singapore’s momentous anniversary of independence. The fabric features a custom floral pattern which includes the orchid (Singapore’s national flower), Limited Edt’s logo and adidas’s trademark Trefoil design.
The ZX Flux has the full on floral fabric print on the entire upper with a hint of metallic rose gold on the heel cap. The Superstar 80v, however, takes a subtle approach in its application of the custom print and it’s restrained to the tongue, inner liner, and heel. It comes in a black leather base and the signature shell top is accented in rose gold. The Superstar 80v retails for SGD $219 while the ZX Flux retails for SGD $179. You can also acquire both models as a special limited edition boxset which includes an exclusive sneaker luggage and retails at SGD$398.
The Limited Edt x adidas Consortium collection launches on November 22nd exclusively at Limited Edt in-store and online, and will then be followed by a release at global Consortium retailers on the 28th.
