As we ring in the festive season during the last quarter of the year, that also means looking forward to annual Christmas light ups. With malls competing to have the best themes, there’s already a strong contender this year: Sentosa’s Island Lights.
Happening from 16 November to 31 December, this year’s Island Lights will transform Sentosa Cove into an illuminated wonderland, with light art installations from local and international artists. Taking centre stage is a 135m-long exhibition space curated by design studio, Space Objekt.
Some key installations to look out for include a colourful seesaw set for guests to play and connect; and a sensory time warp experience by entertainment lighting powerhouse, LEDSCONTROL.
Other interesting activities include fire twirlers, movie screenings, roving percussion performances and more. There will also be a holiday market at the cove and christmas boat light parade at ONE°15 Marina on the 16 and 17 November. And if you enjoy music, you’ll want to make it to the Snowflakes Symphony happening everyday at Quayside Isle from 7.30pm to 10pm.
