‘Tis the season to be jolly and that means the streets of Orchard will be filled with exclusive festive decorations, aka a reason to whip out your cameras and start snapping away! To not use these gorgeous decorations as a photo backdrop would be such a waste, so here’s a detailed list of photo-worthy spots accompanied with great tips from us so you don’t have to look for them yourself. 1. Cartier Ferris Wheel @ ION Orchard
With Orchard MRT station right below this area, you won’t want to miss out on this gorgeous spot that includes an extensive amount of Christmas decorations like this Ferris wheel, a maze and even more Disney-themed booths.
You can’t ride the Ferris wheel, but it still makes for a great photo op!
Once you’ve taken enough #OOTD shots, have a go at the ferris wheel’s very own complimentary photo booth.
2. Lighted Pillar @ ION Orchard
Just a stone’s throw away from the Ferris wheel is a huge pillar with gold fairy lights all around it.
3. Maze @ ION Orchard
This maze is conveniently situated beside the Ferris wheel, with wooden benches and grass parapets all over.
4. White Christmas Tree @ Wisma
Located right at the steps outside of Wisma Atria that’s a 2-minute walk away from ION is a tall white Christmas tree filled with beautiful ornaments.
5. Great Christmas Village @ Ngee Ann City
Right outside Ngee Ann City is The Great Christmas Village that’s filled with street foods, carousel and many other fun rides!
Of course, a wide shot for this location will turn out beautifully as the carousel’s elegant beauty deserves a spot in your picture. Plus, you’ll look smaller in the picture.
6. Pink Lighted Trees @ Tang Plaza
Standing in neat rows in the middle of the road at Tang Plaza’s taxi stand are pretty pink trees, ONLY go there if the roads are clear.
7. Disney-Themed Light Up @ Orchard Road
The light-up banners are all over Orchard Road so feel free to pick whichever one you like the best!
