Step into a sugary wonderland at MAISON ABLE Cafe Ron Ron, a new dessert cafe in Tokyo that offers all-you-can-eat desserts from a conveyor belt!

Spanning 38 metres long, the conveyor belt carries 35 different types of colourful treats that you can feast on – both visually and gastronomically – for 40 minutes. Tickets cost just 1800 yen (approximately SGD$22), and can be purchased from a machine right outside the cafe!

Each ticket comes with a complimentary drink, and you can take your pick from a wide selection of teas, coffees, and fruit juices. Any additional drink can be bought at 500 yen (approximately SGD$6) a bottle.

Some of the desserts available include jellies, cupcakes, crepes, mousses, and pancakes, but keep a lookout for over-the-top ones like a “cake on a stick” topped with plenty of whipped cream, a macaron-and-cotton candy “sandwich”, and all their cat-themed sweets!

Apart from desserts, the cafe also has adorably-plated savoury items. Think yakisoba sliders and a potato salad that looks deceptively like an ice cream cone!

Opened since mid-July, the cafe is located in the Harajuku and Omotesando district. With it awash in soft pastel hues and chic gold elements, the cafe is swoon-worthy inside-out, making it a great addition to stop by on your next trip to Japan!
