Have you ever dreamt of running away with the circus? Bright lights, colorful bouncy balls and high flying trapeze acts. Well, you’re in luck because soon you will be able get a taste of what it is like to be an acrobat with Singapore’s newest attraction that just opened up in City Square Mall.
The latest attraction, AIRZONE will be officially launched on the 8th of February. This playground is the first of its kind, suspended within the empty atrium spaces of the mall, 3 to 6 storeys above the ground. It has 3 different themed zones for waiting you to explore – AIRZONE Ball Pit, AIRZONE Relax And Play and AIRZONE Maze.
AIRZONE Ball Pit
Relive your childhood dreams once again as your jump into Singapore’s only suspended ball pit. Filled with thousands of balls all waiting for you to throw, jump and crawl in. Make no mistake this gigantic ball pit is not just meant for the young ones but adults have a balling good time aswell.
AIRZONE Relax And Play
Tired from jumping about in the AIRZONE Ball pit? Make your way to level 2 for a wide open space for you to relax and chill out. From here you can hang back and watch the other shoppers in the mall go about their day. Or Become an “Airstronaut” and pretend the open space is your moon ground. This mini trampoline area with life-size balls is for you to moonwalk to your heart’s content.
AIRZONE Maze
Climb to the highest level of the playground and challenge yourself as you crawl and dive your way through the AIRZONE maze. Colorful bouncy balls are provided for you to take your dodgeball game to a whole new level. Can you find your way out of the maze?
AIRZONE Slides
No playground is complete without slides, and AIRZONE is certainly no exception. So zip from level to level with the tallest slide reaching a dizzy height of 30 metres. We recommed sliders to wear long pants for the best sliding experience!
Now you are probably wondering “How safe is this playground?” The nets and high wires are actually designed for trapeze and circus acts, so feel free to let loose your inner stunt devil. For those of you still unconvinced, the nets are actually safety features themselves, with the ability to hold the weight of up to two commuter buses. And the entire playground can hold up to 60 people at a time with 20 people per level.
If you plan on making a trip down to Airzone here are some things to note, it is best to come with closed toed shoes, so no slippers or sandals as you wouldn’t want to lose a shoe in the ball pit! This is one playground not meant for the faint of heart, but we dare you to come and conquer your fears. See you there!
