Gigantic Zoo-themed Inflatable Playground at The Float

Asia’s leading light art festival, i Light Marina Bay, returns again this March, this time bringing to us 20 sustainable, environmental-friendly light installations at the Marina Bay waterfront.
But that we’re familiar with. This year, however, i Light Marina Bay is bringing to us more than just light installations. Presenting to you, a gargantuan inflatable park spanning across the entire Marina Bay Floating Platform — Art-Zoo.

The brainchild of Jackson Tan, the creative director of reputable creative agency BLACK, Art-Zoo is conceptualised as a marriage between visits to the art gallery, and visits to the zoo. But this isn’t your regular bouncy castle from childhood. Instead, get ready to frolic in a mega inflatable play-garden featuring a whopping 11 larger-than-life, bouncy installations. True to its name, Art-Zoo is set in a zoological garden, each structure categorised under one of the following — plants, animals and ecosystems.
Some highlights include a colossal inflatable spider, a huge giraffe maze in the middle of the float, and a ball pit accompanied by a mini-light show situated inside a 12-metres tall balloon whale.

Playing on the first letters in the name Art-Zoo, animals and plants with names ranging from A to Z have been included in the playground. Challenge yourself by matching every single one of them to the alphabet, and try not to cheat by checking it in the website — although we’ll admit, it’d be a waste to miss out on the website’s adorable cartoons, specially designed for each character.

With that many bouncy structures, be prepared to spend at least 3 hours here. Do arm yourselves with plenty of water — though bouncing may seem harmless, it can become quite the cardio workout. Don’t be surprised if you wake up the next day with sore bodies, as we did.
The target demographics, while meant to be, aren’t limited to just families. Open to people of all ages, younger adults are welcomed to join in the fun with their own group of friends. We completely understand — the exhilaration from bouncing on inflatable castles is both ageless and timeless.

Besides having fun, you can do your part for charities as well, as part of the proceeds from Art-Zoo will be going to beneficiaries from Students Care Service and Focus on the Family Singapore. Tickets are selling fast, so book your tickets online now to avoid disappointment.
