1. Helen’s
China’s largest pub chain is set to make its first foray into Singapore’s bar scene! Helen’s boasts over 700 outlets across China, and is known for their swanky, oriental-inspired and vibey ambience. Helen’s is not open yet, but is slated to open on 18th May, and while we don’t know what Singapore’s outlet will look like, we’ll bet it’s sure to be super IG-worthy as well.
As for the menu, we can expect to see Helen’s famous Milk Beer, Coca-Cola Bucket, as well as a variety of housemade fruit-flavoured beers. Helen’s also prides itself on providing quality service and experience, all at affordable prices. Stay tuned to Helen’s official opening at Orchard Central this coming May!

2. Synthesis
Synthesis is a novel speakeasy concept that’s hidden behind a “TCM store”: from the facade of the entrance, to actual baskets and displays of traditional and medicinal herbs! Enter past the wall of herbs and be greeted by a Hong Kong-esque walkway leading towards a vibrant neon-lit bar with moody black tones and neon lighting in bold colours like red, blue and purple.
Synthesis is created by the same folks behind the popular Mama Diam, and in line with their TCM theme, their menu and cocktails are also TCM-inspired! Some highlights from the cocktail menu include Goji-Roni ($24), Scallion Blossom ($22), Ginseng Spiced Wine ($23) and more.

3. Lofty Peaks
Part of the newly-opened Apolo’s Food Village is Lofty Peaks, a glam Indian-influenced cocktail bar serving uniquely presented and theatrical tipples. The bar’s decor consists of mostly gold and glass accents, with lush furniture in rich hues of royal blue and teal for that luxe and opulent vibe.
Cocktails are also Indian-inspired, some of which boast unique presentations like Take Me To Chennai ($20) that’s served in a “globe”, Heavens Bird ($21) that’s presented in a bird-shaped glass, Mumbai Honeycomb Mule ($19) that’s spritzed with Indian Spice “perfume” and more.

4. Tajine
Say hello to Singapore’s very first Moroccan tapas and cocktail bar: Tajine. Step inside the beautiful Moroccan-inspired space and feel like you’ve stepped into an Arabian desert palace, complete with palm trees, traditional lamps and architecture.
Aside from Moroccan sharing plates perfect for communal-style dining, you can also look forward to a carefully crafted selection of drinks designed specially to complement the rich and complex flavours of the food. 5. Salt & Palm

After its success in Sydney, Australia, Salt & Palm has made its way to the vibrant Joo Chiat neighbourhood as a contemporary wine and cocktail bar offering a fun twist on East Indies flavours. The moody space gives off tropical Bali-inspired vibes, with green and pink hues, as well as the addition of lush greenery all around.
To drink, Salt & Palm offers an extensive menu of both natural and conventional wines, plus specially crafted cocktails made to complement their bold Indonesian-influenced fare. Wines by the glass start from $17, while cocktails include the likes of Coconut Mojito ($23), Spiked Cendol ($23), Kecup Manis ($23), Java Vibe ($23) and more.

6. Alive Brewing
Local craft brewing has taken over Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre for a limited-time pop-up featuring a rotation of 12 taps pouring both their classic as well as seasonal selection of beers.
Beer selections include light floral lagers, hazy double IPAs, as well as seasonal stouts that taste like chocolate, as well as a selection of craft bottles from the chiller. On Wednesdays, Alive Brewing will also be offering Kölsch or lager pints for just $10 nett!

Located in the newly-unveiled Pullman Orchard Singapore hotel sits Atelier Lounge, a modern and stylish joint inspired by dress couture and designer fashion. “Let’s eat” at this new Chinese-Peruvian restaurant-bar at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Singapore, boasting a hybrid cuisine highlighting familiar Cantonese flavours with a unique Peruvian twist. You can’t miss Chifa!’s brightly-lit and eye-catching neon entrance and colourful interior inspired by classic Chinese architecture and Peruvian landscapes.
