This lala spot doesn’t serve the usual broth, they take it up a notch with a special shark bone broth that takes 3 hours to make! Ang Mo Kio Charcoal Lala Claypot is the first in Singapore to serve their lala hotpot with nutritious and milky shark bone broth. Unlike other lala spots, they don’t prepare the claypot tableside, rather the lala is stir fried and the broth is boiled in the kitchen before being brought to your table.

The lala claypot starts from $22.80 for a small size, inclusive of lala and soup, and you can add on your usual hotpot ingredients (from $0.80), including sliced meats, smoked duck, lobster balls, shrimp paste, fish, vegetables and more. You can also enjoy complimentary sauces and condiments from the self-serve condiment bar with your hotpot. Aside from their original Ang Mo Kio outlet, they have recently opened a second outlet at Woodlands.
