2. Two Bake Boys

You might already know the name Two Bake Boys, known for their popular crepe cakes doused in various sauces. They’ve recently opened a new dual-concept outlet in Balestier’s Shaw Plaza doubles as both a café space and baking studio! Now you can try your hand at making their signature crepe cakes through their classes, or simply enjoy a slice of cake at the café.
Signature cakes you can enjoy at the café include the Thai Tea Crepe Cake ($8.50), Taro Crepe Cake ($8.50), Mango Crepe Cake ($8.50), and more. Cakes are handmade from scratch and come with an extra serving of sauce that you can drizzle on top. They also serve various drinks to go with the cakes.

3. The Ride Side Skate Café
A café located in a skatepark? The Ride Side Skate Café is situated at the newly-unveiled Jurong Gardens Skatepark, offering anything from café fare, skate goods, lessons and more! 4. Coffee Tea Library
You’ve heard of a library filled with books, manga and even ramyeon, but have you seen a library of coffee and tea? Aptly named the Coffee Tea Library, this is a new space in Singapore with probably one of the most extensive selection of premium coffee and teas.

The space is tucked away in a Tanglin Road, and looks like a secret escape away from all the city bustle, with a glasshouse concept, tranquil zen-inspired decor, relaxing swings for seats, and lush greenery all around. You can enjoy tea tasting sessions of various teas from Japan, Taiwan, China and Vietnam. Stay tuned to their coffee experience that’s coming soon.

5. The Fat Kid Bakery
Popular bomboloni specialty store, The Fat Kid Bakery has finally returned with a new outlet at Telok Ayer following the closure of their previous Ang Mo Kio outlet. Look out for the store’s sunny yellow mural and step inside for a taste of their cult-favourite sourdough bombolonis!
The bakery offers Sourdough Bombos (from $3.80) in various unique flavours, each stuffed to the max, oozing with both sweet and savoury fillings. If you love bagels, you’re no stranger to the name Two Men Bagel House (TMBH). The gourmet bagel specialty house has opened a new outlet in Joo Chiat with a spacious dining space and wood-fired hand-rolled bagels. As usual, you can choose from fixed menu items, or DIY your own bagel sandwiches with your favourite greens, sauces and protein.

Hailing from New Zealand, Allpress Espresso is a popular specialty coffee roaster that has just opened a pop-up café in Singapore! Look forward to a Scandinavian-industrial vibe, with silver elements and neutral hues of white and cream. Seating is limited to several small round tables separated by translucent booth-style partitions.
