The biggest carnival event of the year is finally here, and we couldn’t be more excited for it! We headed down to The Great Bay Fiesta to scope out the area and find out what’s good about this year’s carnival. Read on to find out what are the top 5 things you can look out for when you visit!
1. The Great Cirque de Cascades
Brought to you by Gandeys Circus—one of the greatest international circus troupes in the world—be prepared to be taken Around the World in 80 Minutes with a series of thrilling acts! The circus will be held in a giant 1000-seater Big Top that’s climate-controlled so you won’t have to worry about the heat, with 9 premium circus acts specially curated from all over Europe!
Be amazed by death-defying stunts from the world’s most dangerous act: the Duo Angelina, high-stakes high-wire acts performed without wires or safety nets by the Perez Motorbiker Troupe, adrenaline-pumping aerial feats by the Panther Troupe and more! Tickets to watch The Great Cirque de Cascades start from $76 and you can get them here.
2. Carnival Games
If you didn’t already know, The Great Bay Fiesta is presented by The Show Master, an entertainment arm of Uncle Ringo, so of course there will be plenty of nostalgic Uncle Ringo carnival games for you to play and win some attractive prizes!
Look forward to iconic retro games at The Great World Carnival like Pyramid Cans, Basketball and Hook-a-Duck, just to name a few.
3. Rides
Aside from carnival games, there will also be fun and exciting rides for you to play and unleash that inner child in you! Classic rides include the Ringo Slide, Big Carousel, Pirate Ship, Bumper Cars, Water Boat, Flying Dumbo and more!
Make sure to top up on carnival credits on-site if you wish to enjoy the carnival games and rides!
4. F&B
It’s not really a carnival without some bites, and The Great Bay Fiesta does not disappoint: you can definitely look forward to lots of festive bites and fairground treats to keep you going during your visit at The Great Food Fiesta! There will also be sheltered table seating available for you to sit down and enjoy your grub.
There will be a selection of both international and local fare like yakiniku by Grill by Cut, specialty Thai cuisine flown in from Thailand, international cuisine from the award-winning My NoNNa’s, ice cream from Magnum and Ben & Jerry’s and more!
5. NFT Playland
This is a brand new addition to the carnival, and if you’re into the world of NFTs, this might be something that you’ll be interested in!
