Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 has been a year where we all had to cancel our much-anticipated overseas trips. However, it seems that your next vacation to your dream destination might be closer than you’d expect!
A few airlines have recently resumed their international flights due to the gradual opening of certain national borders. Here are 5 airlines that will be resuming flights out of Singapore in June 2020!
1) Singapore Airlines & SilkAir
Our national flag carrier and its regional subsidiary airline have resumed flights to several destinations, such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Christchurch and Osaka, in June and July 2020. However, to comply with the measures in response to the pandemic, some of their in-flight services, including the distribution of hot towels, will be halted.

2) Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways has resumed their Singapore flights since 2 June 2020, operating 3 flights a week. They are amongst one of the fastest airlines to resume flights, with more than 170 weekly flights to over 40 destinations, including Bangkok, Barcelona, Singapore and Vienna, just to name a few. To deal with the uncertainty of the pandemic, Qatar has also extended its booking policies to allow unlimited date and destination changes(within 5,000 miles of the original destination). Flights booked for travel up to 31 December 2020 are valid for 2 years.
