Located conveniently in the heart of town, within Stamford Arts Centre, is the Cheerful Goat Café, a new coffee studio serving unique brews and specialty drinks. The orange and black-themed space features a round bar area where you can enjoy your coffee, as well as sun-lit tables by the windows.

The café doesn’t just serve the usual coffee brews (though they have those too); instead, you should try one of their more unique coffee drinks like the Lait De Soi that’s topped with a savoury cheese cracker, Quatrime that’s infused with wine and topped with a smoke bubble and more. They’ve also got a selection of bakes to pair with your drinks.

2. Kebuke

Taiwan’s popular Kebuke bubble tea chain has recently opened their third outlet in Singapore, and this time with a dine-in café concept. The new space and bubble tea café concept is exclusive to their new Sembawang Shopping Centre outlet, where you can sit and enjoy your drinks, or even a bubble tea-themed high tea affair.

The café menu includes a specially curated bubble tea-infused high tea set ($28.80) that comes with two medium drinks from the Classic Tea and Milk Tea Latte series, two sliced cakes, four cream puffs, and six cookies. You’ll also be able to sip on Kebuke’s tea drinks plus dessert items, including new offerings like Rice Oolong Tea Flavoured Cream Puff, Peach Black Tea Flavoured Cream Puff, Fudge Chocolate Cake and more.

3. Kōki by Mono Izakaya

Who doesn’t love a good Japanese-style bakery café? Kōki by Mono Izakaya is the latest kid on the block for you to get your Japanese-inspired shokupan toast fix and desserts. Kōki is located in the Duxton area, on the second storey of a shophouse. Seating is pretty limited, with only izakaya-style bar seating available.

The café specialises in freshly-baked shokupan bread, so you can expect various toasts, sandos and drip coffee as well. Some items to order include the Royal Brioche Thick Toast ($7), Goma Egg Mayo Sando ($14), Breakfast Toast ($16), Mc Riddles ($18) and more. For sweets, go for their Very Orange Pound Cake ($8), Banana Maple Crumble Naked Muffin ($7) or Matcha White Chocolate Strawberry ($7).

4. Audi x Burnt Ends Bakery

One of the most highly-anticipated F&B openings has got to be the new Burnt Ends bakery opening at Audi House of Progress. The collaboration sees the popular bakery housed within the Audi showroom itself, with dine-in space and tables available too.

Expect to see Burnt Ends’ signature donuts, cookies, savouries and German-inspired specialty bakes too. The world’s first AP Café by luxury watchmaker, Audemars Piguet, has just opened at the iconic Raffles Hotel. The café is part of AP’s larger boutique and retail concept, AP House, and features a stunningly elegant and sophisticated dining space with marbled countertops and arched ceilings.

Matcha lovers, this spot’s for you. Creamie Sippies is a new matcha-specialty kiosk located under a HDB in Bukit Merah. The takeaway kiosk doesn’t just serve your regular matcha drinks, their drinks come in chunky 500ml XL-sized cups, so you can get the most out of your drink.
