You might be familiar with the name Puffs and Peaks, previously a takeaway-only bakery known for their filled donuts, focaccia bread and more. If you already love their baked goods, you’ll be glad to know that you can now enjoy them in their newest dine-in café space at Tampines Changkat CC!

Aside from their fan-favourite bakes, they’ll also be offering new special outlet-exclusive items: like Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Dip ($12.90) and Toast ($7.50). The new dine-in café space is warm and spacious, with a neutral beige-themed vibe and plush sofa seating. Other items on the menu include Focaccia Sandwiches ($9), Egg Tarts ($5.50), Donuts ($4) and more.

XL-sized café drinks from $5 in this economy?! The new JUNK. at New Bahru has managed to pull off this feat, offering artisanal drinks in giant cups from $5 each, including matcha drinks too! JUNK. is located within the fitness studio, CRNK, with plenty of seats available in their minimalist, industrial-esque space.

3. Incloud
You’ve probably seen videos on social media of viral “water table” cafés in Japan and Bangkok, and now we’ve got our very own right here in Singapore too! Incloud is Singapore’s first ever Chinese-style teahouse and café in Singapore complete with a “floating river”! There’s even wooden plates floating on the stream, so you can place your drinks or snacks on it for that IG-perfect shot.

Tea sets start from $28 each, and all sets come with an assortment of nuts and/or flower-shaped pastries to pair with the tea drinks. Some of the premium tea set options you can pick from include Roasted Milk Tea ($28), Trio Tea Set ($68) or White Beauty Tea ($48).

4. Bonjour Ma Cuisine

Say hello to the new little sister of Michelin-starred French restaurant Ma Cuisine: Bonjour Ma Cuisine. The new offshoot wine bar offers a more affordable brunch menu, and it only opens on weekdays. The charming French bistro-inspired space along Craig Road has a cosy outdoor patio area that’s also pet friendly.

Boujour serves French-style breakfast and lunch items at pocket-friendly prices, with most items ranging from $10 to under $30. Some highlights from the menu include Linguine Au Parmesan $14, Croque Monsieur Truffe ($25.50), Jambon Blanc ($12.60), Carpaccio de Daurade ($16.80) and more. They’ve also got a selection of French wines, spirits and beer.

5. Homeground Coffee

Coffee enthusiasts were saddened when iconic coffee roaster Homeground Coffee closed their café and retail space last May 2024. But the wait is now over, as Homeground finally makes a comeback with a new cosy space, serving up the same good ol’ coffee brews.

Homeground’s new space oozes homey vibes, and is modelled to look like an apartment, filled with communal seats and also a bar area where you can watch the action. Coffee drinks start from $3.80 each, with options like Long Black ($4.50), Iced White ($6.50) and Hot Chocolate ($7), just to name a few.

6. Dalaland
Dalaland is a new Swiss roll specialty café in the CBD, and they specialise in Japanese-inspired Swiss roll cakes in various unique flavours and pretty colours. Dalaland is known for their healthier, “sugar-light” creations, where all their treats are made fresh daily with premium quality ingredients and natural sweeteners that are light on sugar.

They’ve got limited camping tables and benches outside for you to dine-in, with Swiss rolls starting from $8.40 per slice. Currently, they’ve got 6 flavours on the menu and more to come, including options like Mango Citrus ($8.50), French Earl Grey ($8.50), Lychee Rose ($8.50) and Intense Matcha ($8.90).

7. Gaia Açai

Here’s a new açai spot you can hit up: Gaia Açai is a cosy and rustic spot filled with floor-to-ceiling wood and wood furnishings. They’re located near Braddel MRT station, and are loved for their generous açai bowl portions, topped with thick and rich sauces like pistachio, cookie butter, almond, cashew and more.

9. Blue Bottle Coffee
The famed Blue Bottle Coffee has finally landed in Singapore for good. The café is located at LUMINE in Raffles City, and marks the brand’s first café opening in Southeast Asia. The minimalist café has an airy, open concept; and also has a small retail section where you can purchase the brand’s exclusive merchandise.

On the menu are specialty coffee drinks from $6.50 each, with options like Iced Cold Brew ($7.50), Drip Coffee ($10), Gibraltar ($7.50), Macchiato ($7); and non-coffee options like Lemon Yuzu Fizz ($8.50), Matcha Latte ($9.50) and more. There’s also a selection of bakes, including Singapore-exclusive items like the Coconut Kouign-Amann ($8) and Pandan Canelé with Kaya ($6).

10. Gwen’s Frozen
Gwen’s Frozen is a one-of-a-kind American-inspired dessert parlour in town, offering Singapore’s first-ever frozen custards, fruit ices and more. The takeaway space has a quirky retro-themed pastel pink interior that kind of resembles an old-school American diner; and there’s a couple of seats inside if you want to enjoy your desserts on the spot.
