This is one of Singapore’s most IG-famous bakeries—known for their aesthetic full-sized and mini pies. Elijah Pies first started off as an online business and takeaway kiosk, and now they’ve finally opened a dine-in outlet where you can enjoy their pretty pies fresh, along with other bakes and coffee! The café is located in the CBD area, at Tanjong Pagar Plaza, and boasts a cosy and warm decor that resembles a living room, so you’ll feel just like you’re coming home each time you visit!

2. Elixir Coffee & Wine
Specialising in artisanal, award-winning coffee beans and sourdough pizzas, Elixir is an airy coffee bar by day and intimate wine bar by night. Decked in warm woods, rich browns and dusty pink tones, the café-bar gives off a rustic yet romantic vibe throughout the day.
Elixir offers food all day, from breakfast, brunch, lunch to dinner. 3. The Marmalade Pantry
The Marmalade Pantry has been a favourite homegrown bistro in Singapore since the 90s, and they’ve opened a brand new outlet at Anchorpoint Shopping Centre this May 2023. This marks the brand’s 6th outlet in Singapore. The new outlet boasts the brand’s classic sage and pink theme, with soothing touches of nature and elegant gold accents.

Loved for their unique botanical gelato flavours, Birds of Paradise has finally opened a proper dine-in café concept complete with food items, and they’re located at none other than Mandai Wildlife West, at the entrance to the newly opened Bird Paradise! Be greeted by a silver-hued takeaway kiosk, and take your gelato inside to their gorgeous rose pink-themed dine-in space with wide windows offering stunning views of nature.
Enjoy new Mandai-exclusive gelato flavours (from $5.50) like Banana Coconut Caramel and Smoked Double Chocolate, alongside their signature flavours. This hole-in-the-wall café has a unique concept: it’s a coffee joint that’s located in a back alley! Don’t be put off by the idea of coffee from a “back alley”, they offer artisanal coffees and bakes at incredibly affordable prices. There are a couple of small tables and chairs situated outside the entrance if you wish to “dine-in” as well.
Currently, 60 ALLEY only offers waffles, cookies, brownies and coffee starting from a super pocket-friendly $2.50. The location of the ALLEY is also very ideal, surrounded by plenty of hip thrift shops and boutique stores; stop by to take away a cuppa while you walk around exploring Arab Street.
