Popular coffee chain, Alchemist Coffee, has opened yet another outlet in the CBD, this time at the Ocean Financial Centre! This newest outlet will mark the specialty coffee house’s 9th outlet in Singapore, with 2 other outlets in other parts of the CBD.

The Ocean Financial Centre outlet has the same modern and minimalist vibe as the other Alchemist branches, with a soothing ocean theme of blues and pastel beige-pink hues. This is also a takeaway-only joint offering just coffee and tea, no bakes. Coffee brews street from $3.50 a cup, with classic options like Black, White, Mocha, Pourovers and more.

Here’s a cosy and compact coffee spot hidden in Chinatown to spend a quiet afternoon with a good cup of joe and fresh pastries. The café’s name, Bullock Cart Coffee is also a nod to the traditional ox carts that were used in Chinatown in the olden days.

The café has a warm wood-themed interior and seating within the café itself is pretty limited, with only a couple of indoor and outdoor benches and bar tables. Singapore’s first bun specialty concept store is back, and they’ve just opened a little hole-in-the-wall joint at Telok Ayer, offering gourmet baos of various unique flavours. The café is mostly a takeaway spot, but they do have a couple of tables available for dine-in customers too.

All baos are freshly made in house, and stuffed full of ingredients. Pick from bao variations like Chilli Crab, Salted Egg Chicken, Belly of Pork, Blackened Chicken, Truffle Mushroom and more, starting from under $4 each.
